West Indies & Australian cricket teams currently staying at Bucc Bay

March 14, 2012

Exciting news, cricket fans!

The West Indies and Australian cricket teams are currently staying at Buccament Bay Resort for a series of One Day International (ODI) matches in Kingstown, St Vincent.

Both teams are making use of the brand new cricket nets, which belong to the soon-to-be-launched Buccament Bay Resort Cricket Academy.

Judging by their posts on Twitter, the resort is proving a big hit with the players! West Indies’ Darren Bravo and Australia’s Mitchell Starc have both shared their thoughts on the social media platform, as you can see below:

It’s believed to be the first time in many years that international first teams have been able to stay on the island of St Vincent for matches at its Arnos Vale Cricket Ground, so it’s a very proud moment for the resort and the country.

Photos of the teams and Bucc Bay’s cricket facilities will be posted on here soon, so keep an eye out.

The ODI matches between West Indies and Australia take place on Friday 16 March, Sunday 18 March, and Tuesday 20 March.
