The Bucc Bay bar serves an ace: the Pat Cash Grand Slam Cocktail! Recipe inside…
Aah, Wimbledon time again! Two wonderful weeks of rain with occasional exciting tennis matches. We got that the right way round, didn’t we?
Anyway, we have a great way to bring a bit of colour to grey days: the recipe for Buccament Bay Resort’s famous Grand Slam Cocktail, as created by Wimbledon legend Pat Cash.
If you’re lucky enough to have tried it on resort in stunning St Vincent (maybe after being coached by the great man himself at the resort’s Pat Cash Tennis Club), we’re sorry that it won’t quite be the same as sipping one by the infinity pools and looking over the white sandy beach to the sunset turning the gorgeous Caribbean Sea a rich orange… but hey, this recipe will keep you going until you can have the real thing!
The Pat Cash Grand Slam Cocktail
3/4 oz White rum Sunset light
3/4 oz “Captain Bligh” rum (or similar Caribbean rum)
Dash of Angostura
Topped with 1 oz of “Malibu” or similar coconut rum
1 oz orange juice
1 oz pineapple juice
1/4 oz grenadine syrup
1/4 oz lime juice
1/4 of a shot of sugar syrup
Serve in a highball glass with crushed ice
Decorate with lime and mint, and it’s finished.
Cheers!

Mmmm, I’m definitely giving that baby a try… though I’ll need someone to decorate it with fancy lime for me!
