blu St Lucia, Harlequin’s second hotel, will welcome dozens of music fans over the next two weeks as the St Lucia Jazz festival gets underway.

St Lucia Jazz, which takes place in several venues, opened on Monday 30th April in Mindoo Phillip Park – a Castries cricket stadium local to the hotel. The event reaches a climax on Sunday 13th May with the legendary Diana Ross and multi-award-winning singer-songwriter Toni Braxton.

Other performers appearing before then include: jazz aficionado Joshua Redman; American star Keri Hilson; Southern France’s Gypsy Kings; Ziggy Marley – the son of iconic reggae legend Bob Marley; master trumpeter Hugh Masekela; gospel king Kirk Franklin; Fay Ann Lyons; Bunji Garlin; Luther Francois; and Ronald ‘Boo’ Hinkson.

When guests aren’t out enjoying one of St Lucia’s premier events, they can relax here:

Set in Rodney Bay amongst the serenity of Reduit beach and the vibrancy of Rodney Bay Village, blu St Lucia is perfectly placed to offer the very best of this precious Caribbean island.
Just 100 yards from the beach, furnished with the Harlequin standard of style and comfort, and offering a great range of facilities, this new hotel provides the ideal base from which to discover the riches of St Lucia.

St Lucia Jazz is just one of the many treats the island has to offer. Those looking to be spoilt can indulge in treatments at the hotel’s Spa and Beauty Salon with products and treatments by the esteemed ESPA brand, or visit the cosmopolitan Rodney Bay area to sample its many restaurants, bars, and stores. If guests want to be active, the hotel’s pool and imminent fitness centre and sports facilities will keep them busy between diving in the warm, clear Caribbean Sea and exploring the island’s lush rainforests and spectacular mountains. If relaxation is a must, simply rest on one of the hotel’s luxurious sun loungers before taking a stroll to enjoy the country’s many breathtaking sights, like the famous Pitons rising from the sea.
